From the chaos and rubble that had engulfed all streets of metropolis – a tearful young girl looked skyward in hope and shouted, "That Folk Dude, he's my hero."
- Chris Chandler, wandering poet and musician

Folk Dude (a.k.a. Otto Bost) is a Carolina-born-and-raised Pennsylvania resident, a father of three and a son of two, who has always had a passion for music, and was a veteran of symphony orchestras and bluegrass bands by the time he had finished high school.

Later, he continued to explore music by performing as a solo singer/songwriter, working as an audio engineer, and hosting a weekly folk music radio show.

Through it all, he was holding down a day job as a software developer, ultimately spending more than 20 years in the corporate trenches before escaping the cubicle culture and finding inner peace and harmony through freelance self-employment.

Now, through FOLKDUDE CREATIVE SERVICES, Otto is available for work on creative projects of all kinds. Take a look around, then get in touch to find out how Folk Dude's services can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
