Otto's fascination with sound began at a very early age. As a child, one of his favorite toys was a tape recorder, and by the time he reached his teens, his experiments with sound and recording technology had earned him the nickname "Audio" Bost.

LIVE SOUND REINFORCEMENT

Need live sound reinforcement for your special performance, workshop, lecture, or concert series?

"Audio" Bost can help!

Since 1990, he's worked as a sound engineer at the legendary folk club Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, PA, where he's mixed sound for artists like John Gorka, Chris Smither, Patty Larkin, and Livingston Taylor, to name a few.

He's also done sound for performances at Bethlehem's prestigious Musikfest, and for a variety of other coffeehouse and concert series.

CONCERT RECORDING AND CD PRODUCTION

For ten years, Otto was not only the producer and host of his weekly radio program "Acoustic Eclectic" – He was also the show's sole engineer and recording technician.

Each week, he welcomed musicians into the WDIY studio, where he not only interviewed them and broadcast their live performances, but also recorded the whole experience.

Many of those performances ended up on WDIY's popular "Studio Sessions" compilation CDs.

"Otto Bost has engineered a number of live recordings for us, including a version of The Coo Coo which was issued on a highly successful fundraising CD. We consider his work excellent! His years of experience in radio and his broad range of musical knowledge give him an uncanny knack for knowing what a song is supposed to sound like. That's an elusive talent, and Otto has it!"
- Pete and Maura Kennedy, The Kennedys

Otto is available for recording and producing small projects as well as large ones.

He has engineered many recordings for a wide variety of artists, and he's made countless live concert recordings, many of which have been used for broadcasts and CDs.

Otto likes to record artists in their "natural habitat." When he recorded Justin Solonynka's "Bull in a China Shop" CD and The New Seed Sanctuary's "Shamanistic Echoes" CD, he mastered the recordings on location, in places that were convenient, comfortable and familiar to the artists.

LECTURE AND WORKSHOP RECORDING

Are you a lecturer or a workshop presenter who's interested in making a deeper connection with your audiences?

Why not let Otto record your presentation so that you can make it available as an audio cassette, CD, or downloadable MP3 file?

The people who attend your workshop will be delighted to have the opportunity to relive the experience again and again.

People who aren't able to attend your workshop due to scheduling conflicts, geography, or other limitations will still be able to "be there" just by listening to the recording.

Of course, you'll benefit, too, because you'll have an additional revenue stream coming from the sale of your recordings!
